Week 15

Life has been busy here so this will be short. I love this half grin shot of Hans. He's getting big and very fun, smiley and wiggly.

Had to post this great expression aimed at Henry who was probably doing something loud and active to try to get Hans to giggle. Didn't work this time.

Week 14

Week 14 and Hans is really interested in sitting in normal chairs. He spends a lot of time here with toys and watching Henry. So much for the bouncy seats in the house. You try to set him in one and he starts fussing instantly since he can't see out as well.

This is also a very common setup. Henry is being a great brother and always has suggestions for what Hans may want and loves to bring him toys to play with. Mainly, Hans just enjoys watching Henry.

Week 13

Just a quick post here before I head for bed. It's been a busy but fun week. Henry started a new class at his nursery school and is very excited to someday be the "pet helper" and seems to enjoy some new classmates. Hans is getting bigger (of course), started giggling at Henry and overall is quite smiley and more interactive. Derek shot a video of the giggling which I'll post some other time. That's it for now. Henry enjoys getting his weekly picture taken with Hans now. And I couldn't decide which picture of Hans to include so you have the smiling and non-smiling version.

Week 12

It's hard to believe that Hans is already 12 weeks old. When Henry was this age, I was heading back to work. This time I'll be home with both Henry and Hans until early November. I'm very happy about this especially since it seems like Hans is just starting to show some personality (smiling, giggling a bit, batting toys, cooing, etc.)

We haven't done much for Labor day except stay here in town and enjoy the cooler weather. We've also been playing catch-up on laundry, cleaning, baking, etc. that we neglected last weekend when we were up north. (And I wasn't able to get to this week since Derek started school). Enough talking, here are the pictures.

Official 12 week photo. This was the best smile even though he's not looking at the camera and it's a bit blurry.

We actually walked to the farmer's market this weekend which was a nice change. It helped that it was very cool outside and that I got a double jogging stroller. Henry isn't usually a fan of riding but it's quite a walk.

Derek and Henry at the Market.

I have so many pictures like this since Henry always wants to hold Hans and it's just too cute. (Hans really is safe even though it looks like Henry is dropping him).
