Weekend Visitors

This weekend Tina's parents are visiting from Ohio. So far they've had a lot of fun with little Henry. The nice thing is that so far he hasn't been too shy about 'giving out smiles' to people he doesn't recognize.
We of course took the time this morning to go up to the farmers market. It was a brisk 40-some degrees with a rather cool wind. Henry had his first opportunity to try out his 'cookie monster' out fit that he is borrowing from neighbor/friend Levi.
Included this picture because it's just cute. No real reason.

Week 19

Here's the weekly picture. I (Derek) didn't have to work today so Henry and I got to spend quality time together all day. Here's the weekly picture taken on what has become one of his favorite places to sit.

Home Sick - Playing w/ iMovie

Both Tina and I are at home sick with what Henry earlier in the week. Tina has it much worse than I, but I'm still feeling rather groggy. Anyway, the nice thing about a laptop is that you can lay down and still do stuff. So instead of doing things REALLY constructive, I've put together a little video. Sorry Trent, I didn't get permission to use your music in advance and this may not be the most obvious choice, but I thought it worked reasonably well.

Week 18

Here's the 18 week picture. Henry was sick yesterday but is on the mend and was actually quite happy despite the fact he wasn't feeling good.

week 17

This a bit more on time, yet still a day late. Not the best smile but we have trouble getting him to smile and be facing the camera. Ahhh the perils of parenthood.

Oops, didn't do a good job of getting week 16. Here it is a week late and the picture was taken late too, but at least a few days before week 17!

One BUSY weekend!

This weekend we headed to Indiana for Derek's 10 year college reunion and to visit family. Henry was able to stay with great aunt Dorothea and great uncle Ray, as well as have lunch with Derek's cousin Angie and her family. Unfortunately, we were lacking sleep and didn't take any pictures. On Sunday we headed south to visit more family. Henry was able to meet his namesake great grandpa Henry (and grandma Francis too). He also met many other relatives who were happy to see him for the first time. It was a fun and busy weekend with many hours of driving. Amazingly, with all the moving around and gatherings and being passed around Henry did very well and slept probably better than we did. Here are just a few pictures with the great grandparents!
