A few weekends ago, we had our annual church retreat. We all head to a beautiful retreat center and spend a weekend together. It is a great time. Here are some of the things Henry did at retreat:
Finger painting (more watching others paint than actual painting)
Foosball!
All Saturday it snowed and created a beautiful scene for a sled ride on Sunday morning.
The retreat center is surrounded by lots of hiking. We didn't go too far since it was a lot of work pulling the sled.
This is from this weekend. We finally got Henry some rubber boots to splash in puddles since his winter boots proved to be leaky in water. : ( They are dinosaurs and he fell in love with them so much we wore them all day and all evening, even during his nap!

Oh Tina, When I saw Henry in the gown looking thing and the title said 'update' i was afraid you were updating us on Henry being sick. So glad it was a general update. He is super cute by the way!
When I first saw the picture of Henry at the retreat, I thought you had him in a dress. :) Then I realized it was one of Derek's tye dye shirts. Which Doug loves by the way. Any chance you can tell me how to make them? His are getting a little too small. Or maybe we could do a tye dye experiment at the beach.
Sorry I should have specified. In the first picture Henry is wearing a big old tye-dyed shirt provided by the organizers at retreat to theoretically keep the kids clean.
Megan, the tye dying Derek does with the Chemistry classes at school and the dyes are intense and last a long time. We'll work on some more for next year!
